Fourth Saturday, Downtown Roseville

8:00 am-10:30 am

The Mission

To show the Grace of God the Father by exhibiting the Love of the Son, King Jesus, through the empowering of the Holy Spirit. All to the glory of GOD . (Psalm 115:1)

City Ministry is a grace-generated and grace-centered ministry. We seek to show grace and kindness – in both tangible and intangible ways – to our neighbors in need, whether they are the cause of their current lot in life or misery or not, just as God the Father showed us grace and unearned kindness by saving us, His enemies. (Rom 5:8)

City Ministry seeks to be ministers of the Gospel, “adorning ourselves with the doctrine of God our Savior” (Titus 2:10), by the power of the Holy Spirit – in our homes, our city, our neighborhoods, our schools, our workplaces, and beyond. Every day IS City Ministry to the Christian. There are no “sacred versus secular duties in Christ. We are called to “do all to the glory of God.“ (1Cor 10:31)

The Purpose

To disciple the Body toward grace-oriented and gospel-centered works in order to grow the Body deeper in love with the Gospel of Christ and the Church and to foster a heart for the lost and hurting.

"Some boast of their high calling, but they lie idly at anchor. Religion does not seal warrants to idleness. Christians must not be slothful. Idleness is the devil’s bath; a slothful person becomes a prey to every temptation. Grace, while it cures the heart, does not make the hand lame." -Thomas Watson

City Ministry seeks above all to keep Jesus and the Gospel the driving force behind every kind of outreach.  We serve as unto God, not to gain the recognition of man.  City Ministry in and of itself is not the answer to a “slothful” or “lukewarm” work ethic of the Church.  However, God the Holy Spirit alone can give to each of us a deeper understanding of His great Grace toward us.  Our response to that Grace will be a desire to serve Him wherever He calls us – today – all for His glory.

Please join us as we share Worship, the Word, and food with those in need in Roseville
